What To Expect
Day 1: Tirana Airport / Vlora
Arrival at Tirana Airport. Meet with the guide. Transfer to Vlora. Accommodation at Hotel Britania 4*. Free time. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Vlora - Berat
Departure for Berat, known as the “city of a thousand windows.” The city is divided into an “upper town” dating back to the 14th century, rich in Byzantine churches, and a “lower town” adorned with numerous ancient mosques. Its famous “museum quarters” include the Castle, Mangalem, and Gorica. Even today, over a thousand families live within the citadel. Among its many sites of interest are early Christian churches, the Cathedral of St. Mary, and mosques from the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. Return to Vlora. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 3: Vlora – Boat Trip
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day boat trip around Vlora Bay. Visit to Sazan Island and the Karaburun Peninsula, a natural park. Time to swim at beaches accessible only by sea. Dinner and overnight stay
Day 4: Vlora – Archaeological Site of Apollonia
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at the beach. In the early afternoon, departure for Apollonia, a major archaeological site.
The city was founded in the 5th century BC by Greek settlers from Corfu and Corinth. Aristotle considered it an important political and social example of an oligarchic state. Apollonia began to decline in the 3rd century AD due to an earthquake that altered the course of the Vjosa River, making navigation difficult. Upon arrival, guided tour of the archaeological complex. Return to Vlora. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Vlora – Llogara – Dhermi
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Llogara National Park and beach day in Dhermi. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Vlora
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning guided tour of Vlora, a city of great historical importance for Albania, as it was here that the country declared independence from the Ottoman Empire on November 28, 1912. Afternoon free in Vlora.
Day 7: Vlora
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in Vlora.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tirana Airport for the departure.
