What To Expect

Day 1: Tirana Airport – Tirana

Arrival at Tirana International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Tirana, the capital of Albania. City tour. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Tirana – Ohrid (North Macedonia)

Breakfast in hotel. Depart for Ohrid, the pearl of North Macedonia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on the shores of Lake Ohrid, the town was declared a World Heritage in 1980. Thanks to the efforts of St. Clement and St. Naum of Ohrid, the first pan-Slavic University in Europe was founded. The visit comprises of the Church of St Sofia (11th century), the most important medieval monument in Macedonia with magnificent Byzantine frescoes, paintings. Boat tour in Ohrid lake.  
Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ohrid – Skopje

Departure for Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Begin your visit of Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, with a walk through the lively city center. Explore Macedonia Square, dominated by the impressive statue of Alexander the Great, and cross the historic Stone Bridge, linking the modern town with the Old Bazaar. This bustling marketplace, one of the largest in the Balkans, is filled with Ottoman-era buildings, mosques, hammams, artisan shops and cafés.
Visit the Church of St. Clement of Ohrid, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the Balkans, Throughout the tour, enjoy the mix of cultures and architectural styles that make Skopje unique. In the meantime, the local guide will explain North Macedonia during Tito’s era and the country as it is today. Dinner and overnigh

Day 4: Skopje – Thessaloniki

Breakfast in hotel. Depart for Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city and a vibrant crossroads of cultures. Lunch in a local restaurant.  Travel to Aigai (also known as Vergina), near Thessaloniki to visit the palace of Alexander the Great. This was the capital of ancient Macedonia and the site of Alexander’s coronation, featuring the grand Royal Palace of Aigai, which reopened to the public in January 2024 after extensive restoration. Check in hotel in Thessaloniki.  
Dinner with live music with  bouzouki in a local restaurant and overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 5: Thessaloniki

Breakfast in hotel. Begin the tour at the White Tower, the city’s iconic landmark on the seafront promenade. Continue to the Rotunda and the nearby Arch of Galerius, impressive monuments from the Roman period. Explore Aristotelous Square, the heart of modern Thessaloniki, surrounded by neoclassical buildings, cafés and shops. Throughout the tour, enjoy Thessaloniki’s lively atmosphere, its mix of Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and modern heritage, and its stunning views of the Aegean Sea.
Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

Day 6: Thessaloniki – Korca

Departure towards Albania. Visit Korça, often called the “City of Serenades” and considered the cultural heart of southeastern Albania. Let’s begin the tour with a walk through the old town, where cobbled streets and elegant villas recall the city’s prosperous past. Visit the National Museum of Medieval Art, which houses one of the richest collections of Orthodox icons and religious artifacts in the Balkans. Stroll through the lively Bazaar of Korça, recently restored and full of cafés, small restaurants and local craft shops — a perfect place to taste the city’s traditional cuisine or its famous beer. Day 7: Korca – Tirana

Return in Tirana. Free time for shopping or leisure. Farewell dinner with live music with Balkan music and dancing night. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 8: Tirana – Airport

Breakfast in hotel. Visit of  Tirana, Bunk Art, the Museum of Communism. Lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for departure. End of services.
